Cill Chua Club Notes

Eoghan Rua Cill Chua Notes W/E 4th June

Best of luck to the Down Senior team against Longford in the Tailteann cup preliminary quarter final on Saturday. We wish our own lads all the best in the game, Conor Laverty, Darragh O’Hanlon, Jerome Johnston, Ryan Johnston, Shealan Johnston, Ceilum Doherty, Ryan McEvoy, Miceal Rooney, Anthony Morgan, Eugene Branagan and Niall Kane.

At adult level it was a disappointing week of results with the seniors loosing to Clonduff midweek, the thirds loosing away to Mayobridge and the Camogs failing to get a victory in Ballyholland. There was better fortune for the senior leaders who beat Carryduff 2-10 to 1-10.

Well done to the minor boys who won the county Feis at the weekend, their opponents failing to field in the final. They also had a good win in the league at home to Clonduff.

The under 15 boys had an impressive win over Dromara last Thursday while the under 13s went down to an impressive Carryduff on Tuesday.

Well done to our p6/p7 camogs who played at half time in the Senior Camogie Championship in Liatroim where Down took on Clare. See attached photo.
