Eoghan Rua Cill Chua Notes

Congratulations to the county Under 20 team and management on their wonderful provincial success on Friday eveningagainst Monaghan. It was an absorbing game and we in Cill Chua are so proud of our players and manager Conor. It was also great that one of our own captained the side to victory. Congratulations Shealan, Niall, Sean Og, Tiernan, Justin, Anthony and Conor and best of luck this weekend in the All Ireland Semi final v Roscommon.

Well done to our seconds footballers who were crowned winners of the Felix Darby Premier Reserve league last week defeating Carryduff in Drumgath 0-9 to 0-7.

Commiserations to our minors who

Missed out on league success on Sunday. Their was little between them and opponents Loughinisland, but it was the blues who done enough to take home the league title winning 3-15 to 4-7.

Our senior team travelled to Burren last Thursday and came away with both league points winning by the minimum in a low scoring encounter.

It was a game played at a high intensity with both defences on top.

Warrenpoint were the visitors to Pairc Eoghain Rua on Monday evening, see our website and local press for result.

In ladies football, both our seniors and Under 13s faced Annaclone last week, with the seniors winning well and the young girls unfortunately getting well beat.

Our senior Camogs were in action also last week and had a brilliant 6-9 to 2-8 win over Portaferry.
